So far the nvr works great, i added a 10g hard drive and it works great. Now the customer support is another issue. But overall it takes a little work to set up, once setup it's easy to operate. Great product.

I am quite surprised at how well this Network Video Recorder performs. I have been looking to replace a GW system that I've had for my security system for about 7 years. This one offers a manual and on-screen menus that are written in proper English - a welcome improvement over my GW NVR. Included in the box are the NVR console, power cord and adapter, a mouse with battery, a couple of warning stickers, and the User Manual. As noted by the manufacturer the hard drive is not included. Although there is a second SATA data port found inside there is no second power connection so it appears you truly are limited to just one hard drive. It does not support external hard drives as additional storage. I installed and formatted a single WD Purple 6TB drive which has performed quite well.I have attached 2 analog cameras to the console which supports 8 BNC connectors for analog cameras. I have also connected 7 additional digital IP cameras as well. All of my IP cameras were ONVIF compliant and were found easily by the NVR. I have the cameras connected to a POE hub or via WiFi. The POE hub is connected to the NVR via the ethernet port in the back. However, I have two ONVIF cameras that I can't get to display in the console as they do not connect. I don't know where the problem is with these two cameras but I'll keep trying. BTW - my previous NVR couldn't connect to them either so I am not blaming this NVR.With 9 cameras all at higher than HD resolution and playback set to 30 fps I get 24 days of recorded playback available using my 6TB hard drive. Theoretically this NVR can handle 16 cameras but you'll need to be wary of the bandwidth used as there is a limit that may dictate fewer connections. The best part about this device for me is that the phone app (Tuya Smart) works reliably. I've checked in on my cameras from work, at project sites, from across the country and even internationally without any issues accessing the live feeds. I can also control my PTZ cameras without any problems. I couldn't be happier with this NVR as it provides flexibility, reliability and peace of mind.

Keep in mind that it doesn't have PoE ports, so you'll need a separate switch for certain cameras. It works with specific IP and BNC cameras, but not SDI. The 5-megapixel recording system is the highest resolution in TIGERSECU's range, with instant alerts and remote viewing on various devices. It also doesn't have a hard drive.

Received my NVR. It can nicely packed in a box and had a good set of instructions. I had security cameras which I bought a while back which were the hardwired type. After reading the literature I realized wireless cameras would do better and allow me to monitor away from home on the app. The NVR instructions are easy to follow and the entire box looks nicely made. I am eager to use it when I get my other cameras.
